Finally, an Update!

Wow-- so it's been a while, but we're finally ready for an update on Spot Three Productions.

Spot Three Productions seems to have found a creative soulmate and has teamed up with First Sight Productions for several upcoming projects. The first four episodes of the 15 minute tv-show Pimpbot & The Fridges (a comedy set in a dorm room reminiscent of Pee Wee's Playhouse) are now written and awaiting production. We will be working with First Sight Productions to make this possible once we gather the time and proper funds. If you are interested in helping get these scripts filmed, please email us and we will send you the scripts to read.

In addition, our short film, "Green Lights For Gary" is scheduled to shoot sometime late winter/early spring.

Current Projects:
-Couples Therapy (short internet series with FSP)
-Pimpbot & The Fridges (tv-series)
-Green Lights For Gary (short film)
-Untitled Sci-Fi Script (feature screenplay)

In the meantime, checkout these short films by Kris and Lindy Boustedt of First Sight Productions created with a little help from us here at Spot3.

TV Show Update

James and I have now finished three episodes of our new 15 minute television show. We're pitching the show as "Pee Wee's Playhouse in a college dorm room" and thus far people who've read it seem to be enjoying it and finding it an interesting new idea. We're going to keep writing more episodes, but are still in search of funds and other support before we can film. Currently we are in need of:

-Location/$ for location - College Dorm Room
-Props for room
-Lighting equipment
-Sound equipment
-Actors
-$ for travel, film, rentals

Once we figure out how to fill these gaps, we'll begin filming and provide the show for free as a podcast, on this site, and by submitting it to www.channel101.com
Check back for more updates soon.

Spot-Three-Productions Mission Statement

Spot Three Productions consists of the creative minds of Jon Horowitz and James Getomer. Friends and creative partners since high school, the two have written and produced four one act plays, one short action film entitled "Get Big Zang," "The Real World: West Hartford," starring Jason Vorhees from Friday the 13th, and "Frozen Hell: The Greg Cleaver Story," a mocumentary about a boy who is unable to comprehend the concept of winter. In addition (and baffling to all those involved), they have produced an instructional/promotional hair styling video for The Final Cut Sports Cuts in Farmington, CT.

Their goal is to create quality entertainment for as many people as possible, through various mediums and venues. Each project brings with it a new challenge; be it creatively, financially, or logistically. For this reason, the Spot Three Productions family expands to all those who have contributed in the past, and who are willing to donate their time, talents, and money in the future. Without these people, none of these projects would have existed, but with them, there are unlimited possibilities in the future.
